I’ve often been told that Germany is “so clean.” And it is. I think that we love to have everything in order. Organisation is obviously one of our hobbies.
On the flip side of that coin, some say we’d be a bit too perfectionistic and serious, sometimes.
Well, I agree. As a matter of fact, you can see this perfectionism throughout Germany. Just stroll through old cities such as Trier, Aachen, Cologne, Leipzig, Dresden, or Munich, and you’re going to find astonishing architecture, awfully beautiful churches and castles, and perfectly organized and maintained streets and train routes.
And it’s not without reason why we have so many innovations, that the most disired cars are German, and that most of the elevators being used worldwide are… German.
Either way, why not simply go ahead and stroll through some of the German cities and/or federal states? That way, you get a pretty good picture of what Germany is all about. :-)
