A whole collection of castles, so to speak, are to be found in the surrounding areas of Limbach-Oberfrohna. The Waterlock Klaffenbach in the renaissance style, the Lichtenwald Castle recently renovated and with museums incorporated, the Gnandstein Castle on a lovely hillside, and the Rochlitz Castle are all within 20 km of Limbach-Oberfrohna and well worth visiting.
