Neusäß is no shrinking violet but chances are you haven’t really heard of this town. While it’s certainly no competition for its more famous counterparts, this town certainly has more than a fistful of destinations that will leave you quite happy that you came.
Neusäß has splendid specimens of medieval architecture for history aficionados. The Schloss Hainhofen and the Maria Loreto Church are some standouts that leave you spell bound. These impressive structures have some of the most stunning interiors that you may have seen recently. There’s also the lesser known Schloss Hamel that’s well worth visiting for its spectacular historic significance.

Neusäß, like many medieval town worth its name, has its own Old Town area with its peculiar charms. You’ll easily spot the Town Hall with its picturesque Renaissance architectural style.
The area is replete with more historic buildings of various styles. Among them, the Perlachturm Bell Tower is worthy of special mention. Of course, you don’t want to miss the Augsburger Puppenkiste or the puppet theater that is quite famous for its marionettes.
The town has more to offer as you stroll along its pedestrian streets or hit the main streets at the city center. The main street has plenty of restaurants as well as quite a bit of shopping centers to add to the fun. You might want to visit the fair grounds which are not too far away.
For some family fun, you should visit the Titania Therme, the hot bath where you’ll find more than hot water to keep you feeling nice and cozy.
