Regional Trains
The Erfurt trams are a perfect way to transfer to the airport. You can take city rail line 4 from the main train station to connect. The trams run every 10 minutes and the journey takes only 20 minutes. Then it’s a simple three-minute walk to the terminal.
Long-Distance Trains
The long-distance trains don’t stop at the airport, but it is still an easy journey. Once outside the main station, simply hop aboard tram number 4. It will take you only 20 minutes by tram, and another 3 minutes by foot to reach the terminal.
Buses
Bus number 99 connects the airport to the main train and bus stations.
