A Popular tourist attraction in Nidda are the Vogelsberg Mountains, which was considered the main regional trail since 2004. It is connected to 11 communities in four districts in the Hoher Vogelsberg Nature Park.
There are many signs all over the town directing you to the volcanoes. This makes it a very easy attraction to find. There is no shortage of parking lots or bus stops to inform walkers of interesting nearby locations.

The one bicycle tour that is a bit different from the others is the Hessian Cider Tour. This tour takes you along the fruit meadow routes and travels through attractive areas of the Wetteraukreis. It runs along typical Hessian orchards and through agricultural landscapes and forests.
For a more historical attraction that you can find in Nidda, visit the Johanniter Tower. It is the last remaining of the eight oldest Johanniterkomturei in Germany. It was built in the late 1400s and still remains in great shape to this very day.
