Sulzbach-Rosenberg is a place which has many facets.
Drift upwards into the air in a balloon to experience this scenic German town from a bird’s-eye-view. Look down upon checkerboard farmland and historic buildings, both of which are scattered throughout the area.
Rides are provided by the Balloonteam Sulzbach. Enjoy the wind blowing lightly through your hair as you creep upwards, away from the normal tourist fare.
When you decide to get your head out of the clouds, there is an abundance of normal tourist fare in Sulzbach-Rosenberg. Clouded mountain peaks and wooded hillsides make up many of the majestic vistas you will witness on any of the walking trails and mountain biking paths.
In winter, snow-covered peaks, trees, and icy panoramas provide scenic relief during cross country skiing adventures. Canoeing is also possible on many of the gentle rivers of the area.
The Bier-und-Burgenstraße is a historic trail tracing the beer and castle history of the region, while also providing ice cold brews for your drinking pleasure. Ancient dwellings, churches, palaces, and castles mingle with the beer destinations to provide guests with a unique vacation activity.
Schloss Sulzbach, which sits atop Castle Hill, or Schlossberg, has been inhabited since the eighth century. Ancient structures dot the town, including the castle and Burgkapelle, or Royal Chapel, which is one of the oldest standing churches in the whole country. Iron mining, which was central to the development of the town, is presented in various exhibitions in Sulzbach-Rosenberg.
When people vacation, they often wish to learn more about the place they have chosen to visit. Drinking a beer in a lively pub, adventuring down the river in a kanu, or hiking the jagged terrain are all ways to immerse yourself in the life of the German people of the region.

Leinefelde-Worbis is a significant spa town. Visiting this small town is a walk into relaxation. Its countless spas provide comfort for weary guests who happen to be far from home.
Swim, bathe, relax, or try various spa treatments while you find respite in Germany’s pastoral haven of Leinefelde-Worbis. Spas which accommodate various guest needs include Leinebad and Wipper Welle. Massages given at either place will alleviate muscle pain and tension, as will sweltering saunas.
State-of-the-art sports clubs throughout the city provide physical exertion and fierce competition for the aggressive vacationers who venture here.
Bärenpark or Bear Park will enthrall wildlife and nature lovers. Feral creatures, such as wolves and bears, roam the rustic areas and habitats of the park. Meadows and forests dot the region and provide lush habitats for these two species.
With nine brown bears, two black bears, and a pack of wolves, some of which were rescued from defunct zoos and circuses, this lovely animal park is a delight. If you come here in the blustery winter season you’ll find that the park still provides entertainment as the wolves actively hunt during that season.
There are two ancient castles looming in the background that I’d like to point out… Burg Bodenstein is a romantic castle that dominates the skyline of the borough. Adorned with a Baroque chapel, the castle is used as a tourist destination and venue for musical performances. And Burg Scharfenstein, a medieval fortress, is set amidst pastoral highlands which makes for breathtaking vistas.
With a mix of nature, wildlife, sports, fitness, and relaxation, this town makes for a varied walk into German existence. Each German town has its own atmosphere, and immediately upon entering Leinefelde-Worbis, you will discover its antiquated secrets.

Munich, Olympia ParkEnnigerloh began as a place of civilization ages ago. This ancient town was founded when a monastery was built in the year 860. By 1050, the town had its current name of Ennigerloh, and a travel destination for future generations was born.
The area, with a rural esteem, is situated among forests and woodland, which is great for people who value activities which require physical exertion. Such areas provide sites for scenic walking, hiking, and even biking.
People who value the lilting language of poets will appreciate the Poetry Slam, or poetry competition, held by the Kulturverein Alte Brennerei Schwake. Formerly a distillery, Alte Brennerei Schwake is now an entertainment venue for guests and residents of Ennigerloh.
The location features some areas of the old distillery for informative and amusing tours, but is now home to more amusing options. Two cinemas, meeting centers, and a small theater are available to keep your needs satisfied. The location is also used for various art exhibitions, which art buffs will appreciate.
Ancient churches make up the historic and architectural attractions in Ennigerloh. Rückämper Kapelle, which was built in 1687, is like a walk back into time. The church is old, but not decrepit, as some standing structures this old are. More than nine centuries old, St. Mauritius Church is another old-fashioned structure which will create ancient nostalgia during your stay.
If the regular tourist fare does not appeal to you, you may want to visit the old fashioned Ennigerloher windmill. Windmills add a pastoral charm to any locality, don’t they?
Another interesting site is Schloss Vornholz, a towering castle which was built circa 1300. Tarnished by war, but rebuilt, this castle is a monument to Germany’s past as a monarchy. Seeing the sturdy fortifications and medieval ramparts will also take you back to a time gone by.
