Next, a trip to Hechingen, birthplace of Albert Einsteins’ wife Elsa, is well worth a trip. At the right time of year you will able to enjoy the site of the Ladies Open tennis tournament, part of the larger German Masters.
There is also an annual Roman festival at the local open-air roman museum which really brings history to life.
