At Fridingen in particular one can stand amazed at the vast limestone cliffs that rise out of the forest, some of which have castles built in their peaks. The limestone is rich in fossils so keep your eyes peeled!

Neuhausen ob Eck is a huge 18 hectare recreation of a rural village in past times. Here you will find 24 historic buildings, farm animals, museum pieces and various country arts and crafts going on. It is an enthralling, all-day visit perfect for the whole family.

Lastly, let’s not forget Trossingen with its rich musical history. Even to this day you will find the university dedicated to music together with a unique harmonica museum. The railway museum here is also well worth a look with its collection of ancient locomotives.
