With a huge university of over 50,000 students, you can bet that the Münster nightlife scene has a lot to offer.
One of the most popular times to go out is Wednesday night, so no matter what time of the week you are visiting, you’re certain to find a lively nighttime venue to check out.
Münster Bars
Enchilada (Arztkarrengasse 12)
You might not expect much from a Mexican-themed bar in Germany, but you’d be mistaken. The Enchilada offers a fun night out on the town. The setting is an old building with stone walls and an unobstructed roof view.
Nosh on some tasty nachos and other Mexican treats as you sip one of their signature cocktails, which are half-price during Happy Hour.
Kruse Baimken (Am Sadtgraben 52)
This Münster bar is among the most popular beer gardens in the whole city. Kruse Baimken can be found in the ever-popular area surrounding the Aasee. Locals sit outside under the old trees, drink a few pints and enjoy a night filled with friends and fun.
Night Clubs
Klup (Königsstraße 45)
This Münster night club is always popular with the locals. Wednesday nights and weekends offer dance-til-dawn parties set to the hippest disco and house tunes.
In recent years, the building was completely torn up and redone with a new, exciting style. The interior decor is unforgettable with its large aquarium and comfy sofas with views of the neighboring sushi restaurant.
Heaven (Hafenweg 31)
Heaven will provide you with a little piece of its namesake. This Münster night club is located in the recently revitalized harbor district. Students flock here on the weekends (and at the end of the semester) to party all night long to the sounds of hip hop, soul, house, and electronica from the last thirty years.
Its location is also a huge draw, especially in the summer months. You can find it just next to Coconut Beach with its beachy lounge chairs and sandy shore.
